DM For WhatsApp does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension operates entirely on your device.

Data Storage

All user data — including saved contacts, message templates, message history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. No data is sent to any external server, database, or third-party service.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry services.

Permissions

The extension requests only the minimum permissions required to function:

• contextMenus: To add right-click menu options for phone numbers
• storage: To save your contacts, templates, and preferences locally
• tabs: To open WhatsApp chat links in new tabs
• Host permissions (wa.me, api.whatsapp.com): To navigate to WhatsApp Web for message delivery

Network Activity

The extension makes no network requests on its own. The only external URLs opened are wa.me and api.whatsapp.com, initiated solely by user action.
